Below are two texts: Text 1 and Text 2.
Read Text 1 and then answer questions 1–5.

Text 1

THE FIRST THEATERS

I Many people enjoy the different types
of entertainment that they can get on their
computers and phones. Many also like to go to
concerts to listen to their favorite music. And
5 some people like to visit a theater to watch
actors perform a play.
II People also went to theaters to see plays
thousands of years ago. We can still visit some
of those ancient theaters today. People built
10 them on hills near important towns in Greece. The audience sat on stone steps on the side
of the hill. Each theater was huge, and 20,000 people went to each play.
III In those theaters, actors worked very hard. Each actor had more than one part in a play. It
was also hard because actors shouted all the time so that everyone in the audience could hear them.
The best actors got prizes and they became famous in all of Greece.
