TOO MUCH TRAFFIC
I In many cities in the world today, heavy traffic on the
roads is a serious problem. There are too many cars on the
roads, especially in the morning. As a result, many people
are late for work and children come late to school.
5 II One morning, Dr. Gupta from India was driving to
work, when he suddenly had to stop. Traffic was even worse
than usual because there were heavy rains the day before.
As a result, there was a lot of water on the roads. He was
very worried because he knew that there were many sick
10 people waiting for him at the hospital. They needed his help.
III Dr. Gupta found an original way to get to work on
time. He decided to leave his car at the side of the road.
Then he ran three kilometers to the hospital. Luckily, he
managed to arrive on time to help his patients.
